CHAMPION CHEVROLET GULF FREEWAY IS LOOKING TO HIRE A WAREHOUSE PARTS STOCKER/PULLER...NEED SOMEONE WE CAN TRAIN AND MOVE UP TO THE COUNTER SALES POSITION IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!
The Parts Stock Person receives and verifies incoming orders and ensures they are stocked and recorded according to dealership standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Receive shipments and verify both the order and the quantities.
2.Fill “will call” orders.
3.Pick parts for Parts Sales Associates.
4.Maintain receiving and shipping records.
5.Break out and organize shipments, ready for stocking.
6.Assist in putting up stock.
7.Assist in maintenance of bins and equipment.
8.Assist in arrangement of department, including movement of bins as needed.
9.Supervise returned parts and maintain separate storage area for such parts.
10.Repair packages damaged in shipment. Repackage if needed.
11.Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled.
12.Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
13.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Required Experience:
Qualifications:
1.Must meet company’s requirements for employment.
2.Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
3.One year of experience in a dealership position.
4.Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
5.Ability to use parts department computer system and calculator and motor vehicle.
6.Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1.Ability to operate an automobile.
2.Ability to withstand prolonged periods of computer usage and/or data entry.
3.Ability to lift, stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods.
4.Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain.
5.Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders.
6.Ability to lift seventy-five pounds.
Required Education:
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o Good communication skills.
o Preferably Bilingual in Spanish.
