Advancement Opportunities within AutoNaton! We are currently seeking Automotive Lube Technicians for a growing dealership!
The Lube Technician position requires:
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance. Lube Technicians must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time & must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Lube Technician Responsibilities include:
o Injects grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun
o Inspects fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles
o Checks air pressure of tires
o Lubricates moving parts with specific lubricants
o Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
o Spray leaf springs with lubricant, using spray gun
o Replace oil and air filters
o Inspects all vehicles for additional repairs needed
Required Experience:
o 2 years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership preferred
o Must be able to make good judgement calls
Required Education:
0 High School Diploma
