CHAMPION CHEVROLET GULF FWY IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED DIESEL LINE TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM!!!
As a Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
o Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
o Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
o Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean
o Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
o Document work performed on back of repair order
Required Experience:
Ideal candidates will have:
o Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals
o Outstanding communication skills
o Professional appearance and work ethic
o Great attitude with a high-energy personality
o Superior customer service skills
o Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school
o Ability to read and comprehend instructions
o Ability to exercise good judgement
o Valid drivers license and good driving record
Required Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Must have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certification or successful completion of pre-employment test
o Technical or trade school degree preferred
