DETAILERS NEEDED FOR THE #1 AUTOMOTIVE RETAILER IN THE NATION.
The Detailer job plays an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company. The position is to clean, refurbish and detail vehicles repaired by the collision center or sold by the dealership and will inspect for imperfections in repairs while cleaning the vehicle and will correct imperfection or inform management of the situation.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Clean, refurbish and detail including vehicle’s exterior, interior, underside, trunk area and under hood for delivery to customer after repair or as noted on repair order.
2.Install pin stripes and or decals and emblems as required.
3.Polish and or wax vehicles as required or directed.
4.Inform management of, any imperfections in the work preformed by the collision center.
5.Retrieve vehicles from and return to shop or storage area.
6.Ensure that working area is kept clean.
7.Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
8.Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
9.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Required Experience:
Qualifications:
1.Must meet company’s requirements for employment.
2.Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
3.Professional appearance.
4.Experience providing quality customer service.
5.Ability to operate an automobile, including manual transmission vehicles.
6.Ability to exercise good judgment and follow direction.
7.Be able to withstand inclement weather elements while working outside and in shop.
8.Stand and or walk 6 to 8 hours a day.
9.Lift up to 70 pounds.
10.Be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach and handle parts and equipment.
11.Be able to work in an environment that is dusty and where various chemical compounds and paint is used.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
